Coco von Rotfarbe is a stunning 2 year old red and black German Shepherd. When people see her first they think she is a boy because of her large, and solid size. Even our volunteer was 'fooled' until she looked a little 'closer'. We hear she's great with kids.. She gets along with other dogs and shares her run with another shepherd. Looks like Coco was bred before and most likely her owners kept the pups and booted Coco out the door. Too bad for them, but we're happy to have this gorgeous girl with us. As with most black/red shepherds, Coco has a strong personality and will need an experienced shepherd owner who will show her who the alpha is in the family. She's not the dog for first time dog owners.
